Dark. Rich as a stout, but heavier. Burned, but also some prunes-taste. The hops are very good, making it a rich and well balanced beer. Very good. Not as excellent as the Jever pilsner, but....far better than most.

Clear Black/red colour. Nice foamy head, which quickly diminishes, though. Malty, hoppy, slightly cardboardy aroma. Taste is a bit roastmalty, malty, but a turns into a very bitter finish, which hit me hard the first time, as it was unexpected. After that quite a decent beer, but nothing special.

Looks like cola, tastes like a mediocre dark lager - oh, wait, I guess that’s what it is - anyway, the odd thing about this beer is that it kind of tastes like the jever pilsner with caramel and chocolate flavors added to it - not a very good experience.

Dark black hue with a creamy off white head. Light aroma of roasted malt. Porter like taste with roasted, toasty malt and coffee hints medium body with a long finish. Decent dark beer.

i liked the cap - reminded me of the old coopers days. pretty big aroma of stout wort, surprisingly roasted. dark with a purple tinge, plenty of bitterness, no real surprise from jever and quite a roasty taste but more of roasted grain than chocolate or coffee

A dark brown beer with a fine chocolate brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, licorice, straw, and malt. The flavor is grainy sweet with notes of caramel, nuts, and hints of licorice. It has a very bitter end both coming from bitter hops and roasted malt. A very nice Schwarzbier.
