Bottled 33cl. It pours a beautiul dark brown beer with a small tanned head. The nose is sweet with notes of hay, honey, roasted malt and caramel. Sweet taste with a hint of wax, milk chocolate, honey and hay accompanied by a decent bitterness. Slightly acidic. Some lacework. The finish is mainly of milk chocolate and dried fruits. Not that terribly pleasant and a bit metallic.

Dark amber and clear. Has an off-white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is malty, caramel, perhaps burnt. Flavor starts sweet, finish bitter. Long duration.

33cl bottle. A slightly hazy chestnut brown with a thin white head; earthy malt aroma; smooth with rich sweet malts and a moderately bitter finish.

Medium beige head does not last. Deep dark brown barely translucent body with light carbonation. Earthy roasty aroma is slightly stale and dry with meaty notes. Dry roasty meaty earthy taste with licorice notes. A little watery, could use more body. Dry slightly metallic toffee aftertaste with faint chocolate notes. Some sweetness in the background. Taste improves dramatically once the beer is heated a little. Decent. (0.3l bottle at La Rusticana, Lübeck.)

Fairly zippy, bubbly schwarz offering moderate bitterness. 33 cL bottle pours black with tan head. Faint, roasty, lightly hoppy nose. Lightly sweet, mildly bitter with a medium-roasty backdrop. Quite carbonated, which adds to the resfreshment value I thought. Not bad.
