Bottle. Dark red (mahogany), fizzy egg white head that disappears quickly. Aroma has some roasted malts and a metallic fruity edge. Spritzy mouthfeel. Lots of roasted malts. Not very balanced - very dry from the roasted malts.

[Tasted in 2003.] At the time of drinking this beer I didn’t know anything of schwarzbier and thought that it was a dunkel or something alike. I was really dissapointed, I remember, of this below "average-beer", but I’ll better try it again next time I enter Rieben in Harislee.

Bottle Deep black body. Lightly brown head, which diminishes totally. Faint malty aroma. Lightly bitter, boring flavour. Gone by the sink.

Bottle. Dark chestnut colour with a slim off-white to beige head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Flavours of roast malts, coffee, chocolate and some caramel. Thinish palate, moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle. Brown with off-white diminishing head. Malt and caramel in the aroma. A little metallic note and hops in the flavor. Rather creamy on the palate. Average finish.
