Bottle, 330ml. Sometimes all the ingredients for a good beer are there, but they just don’t go well together. No head, very dark colour, almost like a black beer. Quite malty, burned aroma. A sparkling sensation, where uneven malt and hops jump around. The hops finally win and take over in the finish. Not a bad beer at all, but it doesn’t earn more than 10/20 from me.

NOt teally nice, it has an interesting aroma, but later is like a nasty Holsten but in dark, but there is something.

Aroma was mainly chocolaty but a bit of grass comes in too. Taste is similar, maybe lacking the body you need here.

It has beautiful smell as well as strong and long-lasting bitter taste. It contains somewhat standard 4.9% alcochol volume. It should be mentioned that bottle has great elegant design. Nothing new, just plain good dark beer.

Bottle. Pours dark red, nearly black. Somewhat opaque, with a medium, cream colored head. Aroma of roast malt and coffee. Very dry mouthfeel, with flavors of roast malt, roast malt and again, roast malt. Then comes a bit of coffee flavor and hint of dark chocolate. Average carbonation. The finish is dry, hoppy and long. Very dry for a Schwarzbier, but definitely good.

consumed at some resturaunt in downtown Dresden, Germany. They had a yummy 4 cheese soup. THe pour was engine oil black with little to no head into a Jever straight glass. Full texture and body but not reallz complex. Rather smooth like cola with a decent carb and a swirl of roasted malts and coca. But again, nothing complex enough to really bring things out.

(Bottle 33 cl) Very black - almost opaque - with a decent, slightly off-white head. Nice, full body with lots of roasted malts. Smooth and pleasant and not as ashy dry as some Schwarzbiers. Comes in an unusual body with the label printed on to it. 210403

Almost black in colour: caramel, liquorice, grass and malt aroma; neutral taste with cream and toffee aromas; bitterish finish with cream aroma. A bit bland, but with some OK malt flavours. It seems unsure of whether to be a münchner or a schwarzbier.
