Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, fruity, cardboard notes, light to moderate hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and a light peppery finish. Body is medium, texture is watery - oily, carbonation is soft. [20090712]

May 31, 2009 small foamhead. beer is hoppy, and I am not that big a fan of bitter beer. Taste otherwise is good, ends with a sweet, anise like taste.

Mar 6, 2009 Bottle at 11 Meibockfestival (Amsterdam, May 2008). Golden body with large head. Nose of malts. Nice taste of malt and caramel. Hoppiness also comes through. Dry finish.

Feb 27, 2009 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a huge, white and slowly diminishing head. Mild sweet caramel malty note with a light cornish touch and bitterhops. Sweet caramel malty initial flavoured with a distinct bitterness following. Ends rather dry and bitter.
