Commercial Description:
Unique in taste. The secret lies in the water, which is still taken from the same well used well over 100 years ago. The water from our well is unusually pure and soft. That allows us to add a touch more hops to create the Friesian-bitter taste that distinguishes Jever Pilsner from any other beer.

Big white head colour of straw. Aroma is grassy with malt and hints of hops. Flavour is light, malty with a light biterness in the aftertaste. decent pilsner but not more.

Bottle: Golden colored pour with thin white head. Grassy, hoppy aroma. Bitter hoppy finish. Not bad.

This is a great commercial german pilsner. Clear golden color, big white head. The aroma is like a classic german pilsner, with a little more hops than usual. It has a very full mouthfeel compared to most commercial pilsners, and a strong taste of malts and hops. It has a long finish, and it was the best part for me. A good macro pilsner, whould love to have it more often.

Bottle. Bright light clear golden pour with huge white head. Yep, smells like a pilsener with lovely bitter German hops. Tastes a bit sweeter, grainier than most. More hops, I suppose. Very solid.

bottle. Clear golden colour, large white head, very hoppy nose. Hops dominate the flavours. Solid but shy malty base, the hops could be more aromatic. Rather bitter, but quite all right.

(Draught at Bull & Bear, Stockholm, 8 Oct 2008) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, bready nose with notes of grassy, slightly citrussy hops. Malty, grassy taste with bread, citrus and grassy hops in a dry, bitter, lasting finish. Clean, fresh and really tasty. Nice one.

(Bottle). Very bready aroma. Light golden body, creamy white head. Taste is straw and hay, malts, bread and yeast. Some bitterness in the finish, although quite mild. Excellent and enjoyable.

Bottle. A clear yellow colored beer, with a nice thick white head. The aroma of sweet malts, with hopbitter. A little grassy. The flavor of malts and grass. A little fruity, citrus. A lot of bitter. The aftertaste is also bitter and dry, it stays for awhile.
