| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 22, 2007 Pours a pretty clear yellow, nice golden tone to it. The head is billowing white, beautiful carbonation. Sweet grassy aroma, mild cardboard. The flavor is crisp, grassy, tart bitterness, sweet, apparent hop character. Above average on the palate, much more hop waxiness and liveliness than I usually expect. 19641948 (491), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 20, 2007 Pours a transparent yellow color with a bulky white head. Fantastic stick with the lacing. Aromas offer both the intense bitter of the hops and the sweet of the malt. Not cloying sweet flavors gets scrubbed by an aggressive bittered hop flair. Dry and chalky finish. Not quite a harsh finiosh, but enough to make this pilsner more of a chore to drain than I expected. SirSlarty (68), Reading, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 17, 2007 Honestly this tastes every bit as bitter and hoppy as for example Samuel Adams but more grassy. Smells grassy too. Light yellow in color. Definitely good but not a favorite of mine. iswain1914 (19), USA

Clearly the patrons of this website are biased towards over-hopped american microbrews. Don’t get me wrong; some really good shit comes out of america, but NOTHING as good as this. Hands down the best pilsner in the world......and probably.....THE BEST BEER IN THE WORLD> LtJudge (432), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 14, 2007 Aroma was heavy grassy hops and German malt, taste was the same. If this were an American brew ,i would say it was skunked, but since I plunked it right from a shop in Munich, I’ll give it the benefit of a doubt. either way, only fair thenick (746), North Bellmore, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 30, 2007 Pours a golden color with a medium, fluffy white head. Aroma is largely hops, with a grassy characteristic. The taste is dry with a smooth palate and a bitter hop aftertaste. Solid, but not more than average. shalloWMeans (160), Independence, Kentucky, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 27, 2007 From the bottle, pours with a bubbly, medium lived head and an appetizing golden straw color, with lots of liveliness in the body. Aroma of German Hallertau and Saaz hops, grassy, fresh and earthy. Taste is distinctly dry, earthy and herbal, with a nice hop bitterness and smooth carbonated palate. Overall, all the things I’ve read about this being the driest German beer of all are true. This one is so dry that I really had to take my time and rehydrate between each sip.
