Nov 1, 2006 I purchased this beer on the advince of a German man with a Texas accent. Didn’t have a fridge, so he told me that Jever still tastes good warm. I am giving definate props to the beer for pulling off such an amazing feat. Certainly it would have tasted smoother and more refreshing if it was cold, but the beer was still smooth and flavourful without the refridgeration.

Oct 19, 2006 Bottle 0,5l at The St Albans Beer Festival 28 Sep 06. Yellow coloured. A huge lasting head. Hoppy flavour. Sourish fruity flavour. Bitterness coming after a while - and lasting. Sourish bitter ending. A good pilsener.

Oct 19, 2006 500ml bottle sampled with CatweazleTroms and Finn at The St Albans Beer Festival. Pale yellow body with a small, white head. Citrus (lemon) aroma. Hoppy and sweet fruity in taste. Slightly bitter ending. Rather decent version for a pilsener (28.09.2006).

Oct 15, 2006 Can’t understand much of the fuss about this one. Hoppy, bready flavour with a dry-bitter finish. Like the average IPA, this is just probably not my taste.

Oct 12, 2006 Very light straw color with a noble hop aroma. Flavor is soft spicey/grassy hops with a mellow clean maltiness. The palate is very clean and soft.

Oct 11, 2006 Pours a clear pale yellow, and both looks and tastes completely crisp and clean. Nice Hallertau hop flavor, with a little bit of doughy malt in the background. Tasty, but forgettable.

Oct 8, 2006 Very nice golden yellow appearance. Reflected in the taste - very crisp and clear, quite dry and hoppy. The bitterness is evident, but not overpowering. Smooth finish makes it very easy to drink. Definitely one of the better pilseners.
