| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 5, 2005 Bottled. Clear yellow colour, small white bubbly head. Dry hay and vegetables in the semi-bitter aroma. Hoppy flavour with grassy and malty hints. Wellbalanced. Not too bad and pleasant palate. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 1, 2005 Clear straw-yellow body with moderate carbonation and a loose, sudsy white head. Aroma of lightly musty, dry hay with mild underlying pale malt richness. Dry, lightly malty character with a prominent spicy, grassy hop flavor and bitterness. This is very hop-centered, even for a pilsner. Body is on the light side, very dry and crisp. Probably too dry and grassy to make a decent session pils for me, but still a worthwhile and enjoyable beer.

Bitterness was way too upfront and covered any other flavor this beer could possibly have. Too fizzy and lively: to me, this is what macros (not that Jever is macro) aim for when going for "premium" because I think this is that kind of attack that people think is good. burgerlicious (308), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 30, 2005 Crisp and dry flavor with a hoppy bite at the end. It’s not superb, but it is a decent pilsner. CamdenD (617), Madrid, Spain
