Jun 24, 2005 Nice pilsener pour, pale gold, with a light fluffy head which receded to a float and minimal lacing. Smelled a bit skunky, though the exp. date was in 2006. Beyond that, it kind of smelled like Bud. There was a small herbal character. Tasted better with some herbal fruitiness and a good dose of hops, no noticeable malt. Not bad, but nowhere near great. Thin in the mouth, once again, its a hoppy Bud, if you ask me.

Bottle - June 2005
Thypicall lager golden appareance, good ( somewhat fizzy) carbonatation. A nice herbal arome. Very dry, somewhat skunky ( maybe because of the bottle or mental induced because of it). A fine German Pilsner, but i expected something more of it.

Jun 19, 2005 Bottle. Once upon a time, one of my all time favorite beers. Still a benchmark Pilsener - dry and crisp with a sharp hop bite. A great session beer.

Jun 18, 2005 Pours very pale with a nice pilsener head. Surprisingly strong aroma of hops and freshly baked bread. Very crisp, with an excellent hop bite. More flavorful than other pilsners I’ve tried. I liked it a lot.

Jun 7, 2005 Bottled. Quite big, frothy and lacey head. Pale golden colour. Heavy grass aroma and hoppiness. Hoppy, herbal taste with a unusual sweetness. Unusual for northern-German pilsners. Quite fullbodied for a pilsner. Bitter, but not that dry finish. Clean and crisp. If they would just change to brown glass, this would be the top northern Pilsner.

May 15, 2005 A couple of sips of my friends bottle. A nice little blond number with a nice white head, collapsing quickly. Fresh malt but with the green bottle devil...skunk. Fresh malt and nice sharp german hops in mouth, with a nice crisp body, and a nice bitter finish. A good pils.

Apr 18, 2005 This beer has a light yellow body - hue apperance and a coarse whitescum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had a lot of carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is bitter with a light bitter afther tast.
