Commercial Description:
Unique in taste. The secret lies in the water, which is still taken from the same well used well over 100 years ago. The water from our well is unusually pure and soft. That allows us to add a touch more hops to create the Friesian-bitter taste that distinguishes Jever Pilsner from any other beer.

A very nice classic German pils. Nice German hops aroma and hoppy palate and finish. One of my favorites of the style so far.

Clear yellow colour with thick white head, mostly lasting. Grassy and hoppy bouquet. Slightly malty flavour with very hoppy, bitter, dry & grainy finish, almost astringent. That´s what I like !

Tap at Redbones: pours golden yellow with a medium white head. Mild malt/hop aroma. Flavor is crisp, slightly dry. Mild corn aftertaste. Nice body. Good beer.

Bottle. Nice malt and hops aroma. Birght yellow color with decent head. Very strong hops flavor - slighter malt. Good body. Probably the most hops flavor of any German pilsener.

On tap. Better than I thought. Clear, pale golden, yellow color with a medium fluffy white head. No real aroma. Flavor was crisp, slightly hoppy, wheat. A little too dry. Good beer for the style.

Bottle. Herbal hops and malt. Druy with lots of bitterness. Good but bitterness gets thin towards end.

(on bottle) Snowwhite foam on a pale yellow beer, looking good. No nose is not that hoppy, I got more of the malts acually. But the taste is distinct forsure, very dry and hoppy. I got flavours of, wood, oil peas and....broccoli(first time I´ve had that taste from a beer) Bit of a burby finish.

The light, golden color, and slightly sweet aroma is inviting. The slightly bitter bite and smoothness of this beer beckons me to enjoy me than one. But I’ve heard that one before....
