Commercial Description:
Unique in taste. The secret lies in the water, which is still taken from the same well used well over 100 years ago. The water from our well is unusually pure and soft. That allows us to add a touch more hops to create the Friesian-bitter taste that distinguishes Jever Pilsner from any other beer.

Bottle at Freischwimmer in Hamburg, Germany. White head, fair lacing, fast rising carbonation, transparent with a yellow hue. Malty, hoppy and skunky aroma. Malty and hoppy taste with a lingering aftertaste. Tingly mouthfeel.

Light clean malt nose, smoewhat earthy, spicy finish. Very nice. Some sweetness. I’ve never liked a pils this much.

The DM & Hotstuff’s European Honeymoon trip beer number 77. This bottled brew from a pub in Hamburg Germany poured an unnoted head and a carbonated transparent light yellow colored body with a good lacing. The aroma was mild and malty. The mouth feel was tingly and clean with a lingering hop finish and a crisp clean malt hop flavor. Sorry Pivo, but there just was not enough there for me to like your favorite brew! LOL! But, thanks for turning me on to it anyway! ANd Hotstuff surely can eat Schnitzel for Every meal!!!

In the 0.5L bottle in Frankfurt. The accent on this beer is crispiness. A real good bitter tongue bite as well. Fine aroma of fresh barley. Good finishing hops. I downed this on the platz outdoors with a really good donor kebab from a Turkish sandwich place. Hey, ya can’t eat schnitzel EVERY meal!

This is a good German Pilsener. Straw bread like, grassy, and malty flavors. Finishes clean, crisp, and dry.

Adequate beer with a mild taste. Good with freid foods & seafoods. Seems less inclined to lead to abloated feeling & that’s a good thing!

Light yellow color with big white head. Hoppy and grassy aroma. Medium body, very dry ending with strong hops, nice one. Malty start fits here well, I like this pilsner. Good balance, not too full bodied but still ending is hopped and dry and carbonation in start is convenient. Slight skunky tone in aroma drops rating a little bit.
