| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 14, 2004 Light yellow color with big white head. Hoppy and grassy aroma. Medium body, very dry ending with strong hops, nice one. Malty start fits here well, I like this pilsner. Good balance, not too full bodied but still ending is hopped and dry and carbonation in start is convenient. Slight skunky tone in aroma drops rating a little bit. apoptosis (1316), Long Island, New York, USA

It has somewhat "skunky" aroma, but it is not offensive. Nice, crystal clear, yellow body with a lush white, frothy head. The body is very smooth, and it is a refreshing beer without anything particulary unique about it. I see it sometimes described as "herb-like" and I agree with that. notalush (2699), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 4, 2004 Clear golden color, with medium white head - grassy aroma, with moderate hop presence - fuller mouthfeel than expected for the style, yet still light and refreshing - just the right amount of light malts to balance out the crispy hops and slight herbal qualities of the beer - extra-dry, peppery finish - tasty and quenching. happy4hops (369), Bel Air, Maryland, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 24, 2004 Very pale clear gold-yellow. Low apparent carbonation, light white head. Light bready malt on the nose, mostly herbal hops, not particularly fresh I suspect. Highly herbal and grassy, less grainy. Extreme dryness, very bitter, distinguishable. Those green bottles are a shame. Get real, you can’t claim your beer to be world-class tasty and furnish conditioning suited for cheap coolers. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark

It pours a soft gold, with a large pillowy head that fades. Aroma is of mild spicy/grassy hops and some sulpher. Flavor is soft spicey/grassy hops with a mellow clean maltiness. The palate is very clean and soft. Very nice traditional pils.
