Commercial Description:
Unique in taste. The secret lies in the water, which is still taken from the same well used well over 100 years ago. The water from our well is unusually pure and soft. That allows us to add a touch more hops to create the Friesian-bitter taste that distinguishes Jever Pilsner from any other beer.

Straw body, big white head, German hop nose. Nice hoppy start with malty middle and a mildly bitter finish.

Bottled at Derby Beer Festival. With my father-in-law often waxing lyrical about how good Jever is (memories of it on draught somewhere in Northern Germany some years ago) I finally got the chance to try it for myself. And, it;s good stuff. Pale gold, chef’s hat style head. Throws your tatsebuds the real curveball of sweet malts to dry hops in one fell swoop. Classic German pilsner? I shoiuld coco!

Pours a pale golden color with a medium sized fluffy white head and no lacing. Sweet, grassy, hoppy, mildly skunky aroma. Taste was overall of grains with a nice bitter finish. Some citrus noted, average mouthfeel.

Smooth, clear and crisp. Refreshing and thirst quenching, a basic pilsener, but nothing particularly exciting about it.

Decent, albeit run of the mill German Pils. Reminded me a lot of my days of drinking Bitburger by the damn case while over there in the Air Force. Grassy and hay like aroma, hints of corn and bread. dry finish. massively carbonated.

What a suprise here. This has to be one of the better pilseners I have ever had. Very crisp and clean with a semi-sweat aroma. The flavor has a hint of bitterness like a stronger beer. Dry finish that is pretty refreshing.

A pleasant aroma when you first open the bottle inviting you to drink it.First impressions do not lead to dissapointement. It has a unique dry taste with a perfume like aftertaste.A great Pils? Perhaps not but a very good one indeed.

Very decent pilsner that I probably would have been much more impressed with had I not been drinking all day. Nice and dry and well hopped.
