Had this at Mayura Indian Resto in Milwaukee last night with dinner. Poured with small, soap bubble, white head and no lace. Color was gold. Aroma was most notably smokey along with some malt and a little hop. Flavor was about the same. Body was on the heavy side for the style and little carbonation. Finish was what you’d expect from the above description. Couldn’t finish the bottle of 500 ml. Friend I shared it with who used to be a high end beer distributor, agreed. Not a session.

bottle at Ft Wayne tasting - Pours clear yellow and bubbly. It has a mild, grainy malt aroma and a bland malt flavor. It’s thin, it’s watery, and it’s just not good. Why?

Bottle from Beer Geek. Pours a light hazy gold with a decent fluffy white head. Aromas are sort of citric and biscuit. Near medium body with full carbonation. There’s a metallic tang, but it’s not all that obtrusive. I’m getting something like fruit/citrus over light malt. Finishes rather clean. Lightlly bitter - like a touch of lemon peel. IMHO it’s better than many pale lagers.

From the bottle shared by thedm and hotstuff. I had never heard of it before, and for good reason. Was it really worth the carbon foot print to send this over here? Big bubbled fizzy white head over a pale golden color. Initial skunky aroma faded into something corny. Some buscuity malts with mild corn and some lemon zest. Stale, metallic finish. Really?

This bottled brew from a rating party poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a transparent strongly carbonated light yellow-orange colored body and an excellent lacing. The sy. The semi-thick mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The typical lagerish flavor contained notes of malt and soft hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus and a smidgen of hops. Flavor is grassy.

Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is of earthy grains, slight lemon, yeast, and some floral hops. Pretty watery flavor. Similar to the aroma with a crisp finish.

Found this at a local grocery store. Pours a very light yellow, no head, high carbonation at first but it diminishes pretty quickly. Aroma is fairly skunky with light lemon notes. Flavor is pretty sweet, grassy/weedy and lemon flavors. The one characteristic of it that I didn’t like was that it flattened out quickly leaving a non-carbonated, slightly skunky liquid to have to down. Overall not too bad but still just a semi-boring pale lager.
