May 5, 2003 Draft - Great beer. Had at Max's in Baltimore. Nice color and aroma. Slightly fruity flavor and malty.

May 1, 2003 The bartender swore that he served me a Biere de Garde and even poured me another as I demanded to watch it come out of the Biere de Garde tap. I was almost certain that he mistakenly poured me 3 Floyds Scottish Ale. This beer was wonderful. Rich, malty, spicy, lightly fruity and warming. Beautiful, but I cannot imagine ever calling it a Biere de Garde.
