Johanssons Son of a Peach

Draft at the brewery. A very strange beer, couldn’t figure out if they were trying for an intentionally sour beer, or a berliner weisse or something similar. - now I hear it’s supposed to be a saison. Having had the Dogfish Head Festina Peche just one day prior, it struck me as a little close, but not exactly a clone. Clear yellow and pinkish color, with a still body and a little white head. Strange boozy, liquer peach nose, more candy smelled than fruit actually, but still decent. Tastes very unique, and confusing, with some biting acidity but not like a sour ale or berliner weisse... boozy peach syrup and wheat flavors round this out. I’m not sure what to think of it, but I’m glad it wasn’t a candy sweet fruit beer.
