It delivers a full, malty mouth-feel that slides down the gullet nicely. The aftertaste is clean and crispt. Good brew. tony2times (23), Blacksburg, Virginia, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 16, 2004 Tap @ BBC in Hyannis: Clear golden amber color with a smallish head. This is drinkable, but not one of the best ESB’s I’ve had. There’s some light malt aroma to this. Taste has a little bit of malt to it, a tiny bit of nutty flavor, soap, and some mildly bitter hops towards the finish. scoobyluv (486), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 11, 2004 Had this on tap. Has a clear amber color with moderate carbonation and a small white head. Smell is of light malts. Taste is slightly malted and has a nicely hopped finish. Overall an ok ESB, but nothing special. StoutOrDeath (119), USA

Sort of fruity, with a chocolatey finish. Formed a nice head that stayed till the end. Suprisingly, for such a full flavored beer, it had very little aftertaste.
Wish I had one right now!
