Nice typical amber ale with malt and a little sweetness. It is smooth and thin in the mouth, but nothing to crow about.

Light copper with a thick white head. Aroma was a little malty and grassy. Thin and watery mouthfeel. Light hops, citrus fruits, and malts on the tongue. Rather bland and boring, but it's very potable.

Dark aroma, nice head, bittersweet taste. The aftertaste gets old after about 3/4 of a bottle, but it's not that bad. If I was looking for something like this, I might stick with a stronger German beer. Not bad, but not the best.

Amber color, slight haze, white head. Light aroma, malt, slightly sweet. Flavor was malty, tones of toffee and butterscotch, slightly sweet. Medium body, pretty smooth. Not bad.

There was nothing stand-outish about the aroma. The beer looked great though. I had it on tap at Bailey's Irish pub in Birmingham and it was my first legal beer after I turned 21 on the day of my birthday. It was free and oh so sweet. I loved the flavour and the palate, its colour and gentle lace. It was so splendiferously magnunderful. I'm exaggerating. Slightly more enjoyable than Bitburger's Premium Pilsener.

Deep toffee smell, white grape juice, with hops hitting high on the roof of the mouth, minimal malt and slightly fizzy. Had at RB Philly gathering February 2004.

Copper color with a small white head. Mild sweet, malty (English caramel), lightly fruity aroma. Sweet and malty taste, nothing really stood out here.
