| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 6, 2004 Light copper with a thick white head. Aroma was a little malty and grassy. Thin and watery mouthfeel. Light hops, citrus fruits, and malts on the tongue. Rather bland and boring, but it's very potable. punkeedo (465), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 6, 2004 Dark aroma, nice head, bittersweet taste. The aftertaste gets old after about 3/4 of a bottle, but it's not that bad. If I was looking for something like this, I might stick with a stronger German beer. Not bad, but not the best. The beer looked great though. I had it on tap at Bailey's Irish pub in Birmingham and it was my first legal beer after I turned 21 on the day of my birthday. It was free and oh so sweet. I loved the flavour and the palate, its colour and gentle lace. It was so splendiferously magnunderful. I'm exaggerating. Slightly more enjoyable than Bitburger's Premium Pilsener. balke13 (156), MIssoula, Montana, USA
