| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 27, 2002 This didn’t seem like a pale ale at all. More bitter and stale like a lager. Slight citrus and acidic tones. BillKismet (1956), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 23, 2002 Bronze orange appearance with a creamy head and creamy mouthfeel leading me to postulate that this may have been nitrogenated. The flavor was a rather bland combination of amber and pale ale with a sourish underpinning. Smooth and creamy, with some bitterness, a decent blue collar English pub beer I imagine, but underwhelming to the more refined palate. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA
