Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is medium amber, thin density of tiny particles. Aroma is lightly malty (cookie, caramel), lightly hoppy (flowers), with a light note of butterscotch. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Sweet, uninteresting.

I guess I was so disappointed because this is from the same brewers as Newcastle, a personal favorite. Pretty hoppy, with a weird metallic taste. Nothing at all special.

Good impression with first taste. Somewhat subtle aftertaste of hops. Nice color as well. Great with food.

Light amber in color. Aroma is mostly that of hops and it is very subtle - fuggles, goldings? maybe both. I can’t really tell it is so faint. Also this beer is light on the palate and flavor is as subtle as it’s aroma. I find it be very inoffensive and drinkable.

Starting off with the most dissappointing part, I thought the appearance was lacking a little bit. Seemed to be a liitle too hazy for a pale ale. However, this beer made up for that with its very pleasant sweet, floral aroma. In addition, the beer was also had a very pleasant variety of hops that left an interesting yet enjoybable after taste.

Amber hue, small head. Slight malty/bitter taste. I think my bottle was rather old.

Light copper color, stale malt aroma, light hop bitterness, watery and weak, bland pale.

I agree that it doesn’t taste like a typical pale. I tasted sort of a dry, nutty presence. Decent
