Kind of low on taste, it was like drinking thick water. Not bad, but nothing to write home about

Lots of floaty yeasts and settling chunks within a mid-copper body that seems hazed with all the particles. A goodly-sized head holds for awhile. Aroma is earthen minerals with caramel malts and Fugglish hops. Captures the flavor of a Bitter with additional sweetness... black tea, caramel, lemon. A nice, bittersweet offering.

Draught. Pours copper/brown with a very small white head. Grassy hops and quite a bit of biscuit make up the aroma, with faint malt and yeast notes. The flavor is malty at first, then becomes tangy. Medium hop finish and a bit of raw grain flavor. Not great, but makes a good pub-sipper.

Bottle. Pours amber gold, with a light fruit and malt aroma. Brown sugar, caramel, and malt flavors, but ultimately watery and boring.

Pours Dark Amber, light white head that dissipated quickly. Hops and malts noticible in aroma. Has a particular hop bite to it. Finish is not the cleanest, though it comes across as quite dry.

12oz bottle. Amber beer with a white head that laces. Nice malty aroma and flavor. Hops were noticeable for a nice balance. Sweet, caramel, good carbonation. A nice, enjoyable ale.

Bottle. Dark amber colored. Not a lot of head. Kind of a little funk in the aroma, like funky hops. Some grain too. Seemed like kind of a stale sweetness, along with some of what I call dirty english water (no offense intended). Its more of a well water-like quality that I get out of some english beers. It isn’t bad, I just wonder when it was retired because like the last rating suggests, there wasn’t too much of a hop presence.

Had on tap. This rating won’t be helped by the fact the beer tasted stale. Nice amber color with decent head and lacing. Nice malty flavor. No hops to speak of. I was disappointed.
