Commercial Description:
Crisp and refreshing, this beer has a white haze from a special strain of Belgian yeast which is partially responsible for the spicy character in the finish. Coriander and orange was also added to the boil and conditioner to give this beer a brilliant uniqueness you won't find in any other style.

Draft at Wayne, PA location. Pour hazy dark straw with medium fizzy white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, hops. Tastes citrusy, with some dusty yeast esters in the finish. Half decent.

On draught, 4/02/05 at J Harvards, Framingham. Served with a lemon, which I promptly removed. Light yellow-gold body, slight haze with a bubbly, off-white head, mostly dissipating in to a cover of bubbles. Aroma of grass, light hay, bubble gum and lemon. Flavor is very grassy, with straw, light vienna malt and a touch of honey and dry wheat. Some light bubble gum, very dry, with drying yeast and a touch of lemon and orange peel. Not terribly flavorful, but at the same time, not terribly watery. Could stand a great deal more malt sweetness, more interesting esters and a bit fuller mouthfeel.

[draft - John Harvard’s Pittsburgh - Monroeville, PA] Poured a cloudy yellow color with a fizzy white head. Heavy yeasty aroma with a ton of citrus and zest. Good sharp yeast and wheat bite with a good citrus followup and a lingering citrus taste.

Springfield, PA. Smooth and good tasting. A great balance of malt and hops. The coriander and orange peel flavorings were completely undetectable, though.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a cloudy color with a slight orange tint and a large white head. The aroma was a pleasant mix of wheat and citrus. The flavor was mild, wheaty, mildly spicy and had a nice citrus flavor. A really nice rendition of the wit style.

Draft at the brew pub. ice hazy golden pour just like a whit should be. Solid citrus aroma with nice lacing on the glass. Palate was decent with a flavor that was a little too acidic.
