Pint at Manchester, CT location. Roasty, rich, chocolate-roasted nose with mild grassy hops present in the nose. Rather aromatic. Virtually opaque dark brown/black color with a yellow-tan head. Lots of roasted notes to start, followed by mildly sweet chocolate maltiness later. Finishes with a touch of dry, bitter grapefruity hops. This is pleasant and well-crafted.
