Commercial Description: Brewed with Saaz hops, this brew is medium-bodied, dark gold in color, and has a smooth malt flavor finishing with a bit of hop spiciness, similar to a Czech Pilsener. Brewed with Pilsen, Munich, and Dark Crystal malts and Saaz hops.
Draft at John Harvard’s in Manchester, CT. Mildly spicy floral aroma with some sweet notes. Copper-colored transparent body with a yellowish head. This is quite dark for a Pils. Slightly sweet, grainy malts to start, turning quite dry with spritzy bitterness to finish. Saaz seems overdone.
