Fresh growler from the Manchester, CT location. Pours brown with a tan head. Smells of earthy hops, doughy yeast, resiny pine, some perfume and hints of tea like hops. Tastes of bitter hops, citrus, tea, some tarte malty hints. As the beer warms, earthiness sets in and more of the spiciness and citrus elements develop. Mouthfeel on this is bitter with a bitter tea like finish. This is very English with some brown ale qualities. Very sessionable and enjoyable.

Enjoyable malty IPA that offers nice hoppy flavors without much bite at all. Good mix of tastes here that doesn’t break much ground, but the deep cherry/mahogany color was interesting, rarely seen in an IPA. The emphasis on malt character was interesting too.

Cask at Manchester, CT location. Citrusy-orange hoppy butterscotch-like aroma. There is a bit of pine present as well and "C" hops. Moderately hazy amber color with a nice large off-yellow head and nice lacing. Grainy, cereal-like maltiness hammer you to start. Turns grapefruity and more dry to finish. A bit of medicinal bitterness at the end. A straight-forward, dry IPA.
