Commercial Description:
John Labatt Classic was introduced in 1983 as Canada’s only national domestic “premium beer”. It is Krausen-brewed (slow, low temperature with a secondary fermentation process) and has a longer cold-aging process. Classic uses all-malt and a unique blend of western-grown North American hops, providing a smooth, full flavour product with a true malt taste that is slightly sweet. Editor's Note: Is this only available in the US?

Pours a golden colour with a thin quickly fading withe head. Smattering of malt and hops in the nose and palate but an otherwise unremarkable beer.

Nice golden color, small white head that had a short hangtime then faded to leave little behind. The aroma was Light malt and mild hops with a little cereal like quality going on in it.The taste was nothing special but pallatable.Light malt some hops and a bit of cereal and fruit.Nothing special but it’s worth a try atleast once.

Nothing wrong with this at all. Interesting to note though that a decade ago, this was a highly regarded premium here in Ontario. Nice how times change. Unlike other Labatt’s products, this one actually has some flavour. Malty and decent.

Grainy aroma. Golden coloured with good carbonation and decent white head that recedes to cover. Light malt and light bitterness with a lasting sweet aftertaste. Clean and lightly crisp. Bottle.

A good honest brew from Labatt. I know that sounds like a TV commercial, but that's about the best way to describe it. It tastes like Canadian beer should taste, and goes down easy with little after-taste.

Rare find for down here in Delaware. Poured a cloudy yellow with a thin fizzy white head. Aroma was mildly malty and slightly sweet. Nice soft malt and fruit on the tongue. For macro swill it wasn't that bad. It did a fine job of washing down my fish and chips.

While still mass produced swill, it is above average mass produced swill. Slightly bitter with a hint of hops, and dare I say the smooth light body actually has a little character! But only a little.
