Commercial Description:
John Labatt Classic was introduced in 1983 as Canada’s only national domestic “premium beer”. It is Krausen-brewed (slow, low temperature with a secondary fermentation process) and has a longer cold-aging process. Classic uses all-malt and a unique blend of western-grown North American hops, providing a smooth, full flavour product with a true malt taste that is slightly sweet. Editor's Note: Is this only available in the US?

A great Holiday gift from Labatt to Beer Drinkers everywhere. Absolutely above par in every way. Came across it in a 'gift pack', and was won over completely.

Fizzy yellow water with an above average content of malt and hops. On of the better Molbatt products but still unremarkable.

Shining yellow color with an honest white head. Aroma of cereals.. or grains rather. The taste is pretty malty indeed, sweetness okay balanced with a light bitterness.

A better beer than most made by mega breweries. I find a light malt flavor and trace of hops. Warmed up a grainy taste becomes more apparent. Decent body, slightly sweet aftertaste.

Fizzy white head of surprising height. Light to medium color. Fairly well balanced. A little dry.

Not too bad but nothing to sing about either. Clear golden color, a little bit of malt in there with a slightly bitter finish. Better than most beers you can find at a lousy gas station.

A honest lager from one of Canada's Big Two brewers. All malt flavour, strange astringent middle and a reasonable hop finish. Thirst quenching and clean.
