| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 7, 2009 Pours translucent golden color with small white head. Very faint aroma, mostly corn and grain. Sweet grain flavor not much else. Nice clean and smooth palate. Maybe I’m missing something but this just seems to be a small step above the rest of the macro pale lagers. Its flavor is similar, but it does have a nice smooth body without the bad aftertaste of some of the others. Headbanger (1601), Aurora, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 6, 2009 11.5 oz bottle 2/6/09 (Binny’s Naperville)-Pours a clear golden body with small white covering that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma of corn grains, and slight malt. Taste of sweetness, grass, and a little malt. This light bodied brew is not bad but like Cornfield would be great on a hot summer day. I suppose I was expecting a little more maybe because of it being named a classic. My bad. Cornfield (4978), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 2, 2009 Bottle from Binny’s Beverage Depot in Willowbrook, Illinois: It pours a clear golden body with lazy bubbling and a short-lived fizzy head. The aroma is sweet corn and pale malt with some fresh grass. Very sweet, tasting pretty much as it smells - only sweeter. Pretty abrupt finish. Should be a decent lawnmower brew. hogan873 (334), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 26, 2009 Pale golden body with a fizzy white head. Rather plain aroma of corn and grass. The palate is a bit watery but with a lot of carbonation. The flavor fairly mimicks the aroma. Overall pretty sweet with just a hint of grassy hops at the end. Not much to this beer, but it is quite drinkable. mbgrayson (151), Anaconda, Montana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 27, 2008 Bought a Labatt variety pack. Very smooth and drinkable, people who dont like a heavy bight in their lager will love this one. Essentially no aftertaste. Overall, a very decent basic beer.
