Commercial Description:
John Labatt Classic was introduced in 1983 as Canada’s only national domestic “premium beer”. It is Krausen-brewed (slow, low temperature with a secondary fermentation process) and has a longer cold-aging process. Classic uses all-malt and a unique blend of western-grown North American hops, providing a smooth, full flavour product with a true malt taste that is slightly sweet. Editor's Note: Is this only available in the US?

The aroma isn’t much save some malt, metal, and a touch of grassy hops. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is sweet, cheap, and malty with a slightly bitter nibble. The palate is super thin. Overall a drinkable but uninspiring beer.

From bottle. Yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma mostly of malt. Taste is inoffensive - mostly malt, a bit bitter hops in the finish. Better than many brews but nothing to write home about.

Bottle. Pours yellow amber with a fizzy white head. Light malt aroma and flavor with trace hints of hops. Light, crisp body. Really not much going on here, but not that bad nonetheless.

Surprisingly mediocre in a good way. Taste completely lacks rice, corn and metal, and finishes clean.

This might be a little better than the regular labatt blue but really not by much. Lightly malty and grassy but is lacking a lot. Not to bad of a taste but a little watery.

This had a little more flavor at the end than the regular Labatt Blue does. It also has a darker, more amber color. This smooth beer can be enjoyed on a hot summer day with the honey lager.

This is the stuff they mop off of the floors in the brewery. If you mixed yeast with cabbage and dog breath you would have a superior flavor to this grog.
