Pours a clear copper color with white head. Aroma has the typical heavy hops appeal of IPAs. Taste has a bit more malt to it that I had anticipated. I think most IPA lovers would say that this beer is a little flat and without any distinct character. However I enjoyed the smooth and bland flavor accompanied with a medium body and could drink this one all night w/o complaint.

Pours somewhat cloudy orange/#2 pencil color. What little head appeared quickly dissipated into a very fine lacing near the center of the surface, leaving a fine web on the top of the beer and a white ring around the perimeter. Nose of citrus (sweet Valencia oranges) and an artificial-smelling sweetness. An unbalanced but not terrible bitterness quickly emerges on the palate. Kind of boring malt flavor dominates over the hop bitterness. Not a great IPA by any means, but it could have been much worse.

Orange color. Medium body. Not much aroma, but a bit of malt. Some lingering bitterness in flavor.

Rating #1027, Bottle purchased from the singles section of Dobby’s Worldwide Liquors in Palatine. Clear golden with a very thin very quickly discipating white head that settles into a thin rim. Nose faint and sweet. Taste more present with a significant amount of ’skunkyness’ or bitterness. Some hops but really quite bland in comparison of some other IPA’s. Not great but easily drinkable and pleasant.

Pours hazy gold with limited off-white head. More yellow than most IPA’s I encounter. Noticable carbonation. Very weak aroma which lacks typical IPA "kick" and hoppiness. Almost smells like malt liquor. The beer does not taste like an IPA- there are no hops and it’s sour. Not what I look for in an IPA.

IPA 46. 330ml bottle from BeersofEurope. Distinct oily hop bite above a sweet malt. Tastes like a fat, sweet lager with some pleasant grapefruit hops. Vague chemical notes intrude and linger, but on the whole a drinkable pale beer.

IPA 46. Brown 12oz bottle. Golden color. Blanched almond colored foamy head. Aroma of distant hop. Flavor is kinda bland. Even after the Cream Ale. Looks good, tastes plain. Could us more bite. Not a good all around IPA.

IPA 46*. Bottle. Pours a nice crystal clear gold, sizeable white foamy head. Head disipates quickly leaving a few flecks of lacing. Lots of carbination. Not much in the nose, maybe alittle floral or hoppy aroma. Not really an IPA, very mild flavor. Drinks like a pale lager , once it warmed up a little the flavor and palate both imporved somewhat. Very thin on the palate. I was disapointed, definately not what I expect from an IPA.
