IBU must be about 15. Slight bitter finish. bhensonb (4306), Woodland, California, USA

Hazy amber color with a reasonable off-white head. Medium body with biting, creamy carbonation. Malty, but there is floral hop that nearly balances. It’s a bit different, neither exactly APA nor IPA. I vote for a strongly favored ESB. I really like it. Finishes pretty clean with decent bitter. puggy211 (591), cordova, Tennessee, USA

It has a metallic taste and a cardboard quality in the finish. esjaygee (1531), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Mildly hazy yellow with thin off-white head. Citrus nose balanced with sweet malts. Citric hop finish (grapefruit) with a mild bitter aftertaste, not very hoppy. Pretty weak as far as IPA’s go, this seems to a mass-produced starter IPA. wyzzywyz22 (792), Wirral, Merseyside, England

Picked up a 6 pack of this for a party almost solely on the strength of the very attractive box resplendent with elephant and colonial theme..Unfortunately the beer itself doesn’t quite make the grade. Pours a dark golden colour with a fair head. Not much of an aroma to speak of. Tatse is sweet and pretty artifical with an unpleasant metallic twang to it. A bit naff really; as the saying goes , never judge a book etc etc bweezy (53), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Mild aromatic hop aroma. Decent flavor of pale malts and hops, as expected for an IPA. Tame by current IPA standards, and nothing to make it stand out. Still, it was drinkable and refreshing on a warm spring day in Florida. I wish I were as drunk as the guy at Ratebeer who put this in the APA categotry.
