Not hoppy enough, too grassy and light. It came in a sampler, and I would never buy this canadian bullshit beer . Rynoplasty (513), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 12, 2008 Pours a light hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malt and some citrusy hop. Taste is malty and has a slight bitter finish, but kind of dry for a pale ale. It’s an OK beer but doesn’t stand up to other IPA’s. Hangover (768), Atlanta, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 5, 2008 Copper pour with a thin, filmy white head. Malty aroma with some floral hoppage and honey. A bit more malty taste, with bread/dough. Finishes slightly sticky with malty bitterness. Not impressed. kmeves (1080), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 30, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy yellow/orange color with a white head that dissipates quickly. Floral aroma, bread and metal dominate the nose. Flavor is grassy and nicey bitter but finishes far too short to be enjoyable. Thin mouthfeel, flavor is too metallic to be enjoyable. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 6, 2008 Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and lot os hops, leading to a boring slightly bitter finish. pkbites (333), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Dec 5, 2007 Like most Sleeman products I find this one underrated. Like ALL Sleeman products I find it’s aroma delicious! I swear Sleeman has the best smelling brews on the planet. This one smacks of bread & flowers. Pours an above average slightly dark copper with a thick, scrumptious off-white creamy head that lasts. The head produces thick blobs of yeast & malt that float on top mimicing a scoop of ice cream!!! Starts off slightly bitter, but leaves a full bitter on aftertaste. NICE! I love the antique style bottles too! $5.99 for a 6 pack at Bluemound Liquor in Milwaukee on 12/5/07. BrianHagmeier (257), Coralville, Iowa, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 13, 2007 Explosive head that diminished quickly. Pores a murky amber. Medium body and some light malt and slight bitterness. It’s a real unobtrusive beer. If this beer was cheep, I would use it for Sunday football games. But its not, so, its just and alright beer. conor23 (110), Elgin, Illinois, USA
