| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 26, 2008 11.5 oz bottle (IPA 46). Poured a medium and cloudy amber color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of grass, caramel, and some citrus. Non-existent tastes, but if I reach really deep, caramel and some hops. Thinner body. JoeMcPhee (5030), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 4, 2006 12 oz bottle. Pale amber/golden colour, thick white head. Aroma is a bit woody and metallic. Lots of pale malts, decent bitterness but the aroma hops could and should be bumped way up. In the mouth, there is a bit of caramel/bready malts, a bit of yeasty fruit and some sulfurous character as well. Light minerally hop finish. Definitely English-style but needs way more character to be good. Cornfield (4972), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 25, 2005 From a bottle of IPA 46* Ale (Ale Ale?): Pale copper body with a nice, if short-lived, white head. The aroma is grainy, a hint of caramel, with some mild orange and herbal hopping. The flavor is a timid blend of the preceding with the orange coming to the forefront. Sweet citric finish. This is more of an APA or even an EPA. Drinkable.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 17, 2006 Dark golden color with a taller tight bubbled light beige head. Light pine and hint of toast malt aromas. The first thing that leaves an impression is the heavy resinous flavors. Lots of pine and plastic throughout with a woody pine in the finish. Some caramel in the middle for a brief reprieve. But really a rather thin hoppy ale. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 18, 2008 Bottle: Pours a golden copper color with a nice white head and tons of lacing. The nose is buttery and metallic with some light twang and something that might resemble caramel. To say hops would just be a lie. The flavor is dry and fruity, light bitterness and some vague honey and sour peach notes. Not a good product.
