Jul 25, 2006 Nitro-keg. Clear, copper-colored beer with a dense, creamy off-white head. Malt and some caramel in the nose. Malty flavor with caramel-notes. Where’s the hops? Lacks the bitterness in the finish too. Velvety and thin in the mouth. Too pleasant in a way, ie boring. (060710)

Jul 22, 2006 On tap in Winchester, UK. Reddish color. Creamy head a bit like a Guinness. Suprisingly hoppy and bitter. Some flowers also. Nice and good.

Jul 20, 2006 Very similar to Boddington’s in texture, and appearance. Nice dark body, smooth nitrogen head. No aroma evident. Good taste, light hops dominated by the malts, light fruit accents. Smooth and cool ending that’s typical for a nitrogen beer.

Jun 13, 2006 Smooth, easy drinking beer that is underrated in my opnion. It’s not something I’d seek out, but if it was there on tap, I’d have no hesitation in indulging.

Jun 4, 2006 500ml bottle. Pours light mocca, settles deep mahogany brown with a big, stable, mocca-ice cream head. Coffee aroma, not too strong. Quite dry taste of... malt? No finish to mention.

Jun 2, 2006 Can. Little aroma - light malt. Dark tan color. Good ale malt flavor especially at room temperature - not near as good ice cold. Don’t let this beer sit in cans too long - takes on a strong metallic flavor quickly. Otherwise not a bad choice if there’s not much else.
