| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 5, 2004 Canned. Clear, dark amber-brown. Thick, creamy off-white head. Cascading pour. Light, sweet malty aroma w/ a touch of spicy hops. Soft, watery, typically nitro feel. Bland, sweet flavour w/ just a hint of caramel & licorice. Watery finish. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 3, 2004 Nice yellow colour and pretty, if short, casscade. Head lasted till the bitter end. The can I had proclamed it as both a bitter and an ale, so I don’t know what it wants to be, but it had a nice creamy taste. Not what I expected, but not bad either. | 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Sep 2, 2004 Draught at the Hermitage Hotel, Bournemouth - due once again to any viable alternatives; this town centre is a beer wasteland!! Lacking in flavour to an almost unbelievable extent. I counsel myself that this is still better than the type of mass produced Lagers usually available alongside this fellow, due to more body and a malt atmosphere - but really this isn’t good enough to be as widespread as it is.. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 25, 2004 can. the widget makes for a big cascading creamy head. there is nothing to the aroma...smooth and creamy, but doesn’t really have much in terms of flavour. fairly pointless. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 16, 2004 Canned. Colour is dark amber, soft creamy head, sourish aroma and watery palate. Total lack of inspiration. Earlier Rating: 4/10/2003 Total Score: 2.8 Canned draught. Quite good though very modest in palate "session" beer. Nice, decent bitterness under big creamy head. Too watery. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Aug 9, 2004 can at the globe theater: not as bad as the nitro keg we had later in the trip. the only beer offered. so sometimes ya gotta drink the beer if its the only beer. very cafferyish. couldnt even see the nito rush since we drank it straight from the can.
Earlier Rating: 8/9/2004 Total Score: 2.2
nitro keg market porter pub: the wife ordered this before i could throw something at her....she now knows only cask beers in england will be drank.
this is your typical nitro. all the same trying to hide the nothingness with a nice creamy head.
