Canned. Dark copper color with creamy head. Slightly malty aroma. Smooth but thin, goes down largely unnoticed. Very faint woody, nutty, smoked flavor.

Amber color, nice creamy head. Aroma is sweet, maybe with some licorice? Flavor is from cocoa, a little thin, but leaves beutiful traces on the glass. Some bitterness in the finish.

Draught version tasted: amber color, medium head, and average taste. One of the most commonly found bitters in English pubs.

Can. Big creamy billowy white head. Amber colour, little aroma, little flavour... Something in the aftertaste. Microscopic bitterness. At least I got an airmile for buying a can.

It's certainly smooth. Think if Guinness made a bitter. Not much on the taste, very creamy. Far better than your average swill, but that's about it.

Dickens Tavern, London. Watery and light yet smooth. Great lookng beer though but almost no trace of hops. Virtually no head and no alcohol. After four pints I felt full and like I had drank four pints of water.

Gassy, dull taste with no real flavor and very filling. Looks good and goes down pretty smooth, but it suffers from a watery quality that I found in a few hand-pulled English Ales.

Oh, it's extra smooth all right. This is due to being completely devoid of flavor. A bit of toffee, some bitterness in the finish. Looks nice though.
