gary07734 (166), Tyne & Wear, England Jun 30, 2008 Mid brown creamy pint with no carbonation. A smell and taste of burnt toast, not terribly pleasant. Other flavours malt, some bitter and a little metallic (possibly from the can). Not good.
Palidor19 (1325), Brandon, Florida, USA Oct 12, 2008 Smooth is exactly hte word I would use for this beer, almost as thin as water but very tasty, medium malts with a touch of caramel, drink away. Bullit (589), Glasgow, Scotland Oct 5, 2008 Dark amber colour, foamy-offwhite head. Aroma has some fruity hops and malts. Flavour has caramel malts, some bitter hops. Forgettable. Bart (1401), Vosselaar, Belgium Oct 2, 2008 Brown coloured beer with no carbonation and a creamy off white head. Slightly hoppy fruity roasted aroma. Medium to full creamy caramel palate. Finish is bitter caramel smooth. Not too bad. larsga (2319), Oslo, Norway Sep 29, 2008 Medium largely creamy lasting head settles slowly out of the body, like Guinness. Red-brown body. Light nutty caramelly aroma with roasty notes. Dry-sweet roasty nutty caramelly taste with metallic minty notes. Mild mouthfeel. Slightly artificial perfumy tinge to it. Dry papery caramelly aftertaste. Decent. (0.5l can bought in the shop on the Oslo-Copenhagen ferry.) cgreb (57), Marburg, Germany Sep 18, 2008 can - dark amber beer with thick white head.
