Sep 7, 2002 Cask-conditioned. Mid-brown appearance, bubbly head. A load of malt and some hoppy bitterness. Surprisingly good.

Apr 7, 2004 Drank a lot of this while in England with the USAF, excellent drinking beer, low on the alcohol, looks great in a crystal mug by the fire in any pub in East Anglia.

Apr 25, 2009 Cask in the alfread herring. Alround rating: Malty sweet, nutty, thin, hop character is low but its still balanced and quite tasty.

Jun 22, 2002 Looks similar to John Smiths Extra Smooth. The beer has little aroma with a slighly creamy head and hoppy flavour. Probably just better than the extra smooth.
