Thats the worst commercial description I've ever seen. The beer isn't bad, whatever you do don't mistake it for the rubbish they sell in cans with the same name!

A dark red colour with a thick white head ontop. A sweet aftertaste when drinking. Not my favourite drink in the world, as I wouldnt choose it over something else. More of a last resort drink, but still nice.

Very dry. This is effectively Jon Smith’s smooth’s evil twin. The Magnet is very dark in the glass, a tiny bit sweet at first, and bitter at the end -- and the bitterness stays with you for a while. If you like stronger brews, this one won’t disappoint.

(Cask). A beer in the Northeastern English style, I believe. Dark brown, low head, good lacing. Malty aroma. Rather sweet, smooth, low bitterness.

Pint in the Fox & Duck, Sheffield. Cant believe I’ve never tried this before so here goes I did. Great appearance, amber with a creamy head. Nutty flavour and much more flavoursome than the smooth. Would always go for the magnet now its just not as available.

Cask @ The Halequin, Sheffield.
Pours deep caramel amber with a nice, medium, creamy, white head. Sweet caramel aroma, light berries and a touch of roasted malts. Low carbonation, perhaps just a wee bit hin. Sweet flavour, lots of toasted caramel and soft roasted malts. Low flowery bitterness in the finish. Reminds me of a Kilkenny a bit.
