Picked this up to see if it was worthy of it’s GABF Silver medal. Beer pours a pale straw color that is cloudy. Head is small and dissipates quickly after the pour. Smell is pleasant. Spices and cloves dominate. First taste leaves me confused. Definately tastes different than I expected from the smell. Light carbonation and a nice initial taste. However, mouthfeel and finish leave a lot to be desired. Finishes sour and heavy on cloves definately. There isn’t a whole lot more to say about this beer. Decent. illinismitty (1801), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 14, 2007 Bottle from Friar Tuck in Savoy, IL. Pours a hazy yellow with a small dissipating white head. Very nice aroma of yeast and spice, but cloves really dominate. Medium to light bodied with a slightly thin texture. Initial flavor of wheat and yeast, with some lemon and spices mid palate. Moderate amount of sweetness. Finish is heavy on clove with some slight sourness. Decent, but one dimensional. ChainGangGuy (2613), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 8, 2007 Appearance: Pours a pale, straw-colored yellow body with a thin, white head.
Smell: Lightly doughy aroma with a major infusion of cloves. Scents of citrus and bananas, though light, get points for making it past all those cloves.
Taste: Sweetened wheat dough flavor with mild hints of lemon peel and bananas. As with the aroma, there’s a hearty dose of spices, mainly cloves. The sharp spicing provides most the balance against the sweetness. Still manages to finish sweet.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body, though somewhat syrupy.
Drinkability: It’s fine. For a wit, that is. Brigadier (1246), Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA

An unexpected treat, I was glad to give this a shot. It was a good white beer that I could see selling well in Iowa. I wouldn’t travel to get some but it might be a nice bonus to share with others.
Aroma / Appearance - The cloudy white body was the color of watered down milk. Oranges, coconut and fruit loops create a nose that is very memorable.
Flavor / Palate - The mouthfeel was rich and creamy. Orange creamsicle yielded to vanilla milkshake and finally lemons and pears. The tart aftertaste was a nice touch. There wasn’t much to it but it did the job. This is a nice starter to an evening. mhot55 (99), USA

Has a pleasant tang to it- reminiscent of a wheat beer. Very refreshing, great for the summer. crisp and clean finish.
