| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 27, 2006 Sweet aroma on a slightly cloudy yellow body. Lots of carbonation, a little too much for my tastes. Otherwise, this is a slightly sweet beer with some citrusy overtones. I’m not a big fan of witbiers, but this one is okay. Pours a lighty hazy golden yellow with a smaller bubbly white head. Head did an ok job at sustaining and did leave a little bit of lace. Aroma of wheat, lemon, some various spices, yeast and pepper. Flavor has a lot of the same but I also picked up some of the coriander and more of citrus balance of various citrus fruits. A well done Witbier. IrishBoy (2720), Bakersfield, California, USA
