Citrus aroma with spices, coriander, yeast, a little sour, a little pepper. Wheat, spice, yeast, citrus, lemon, a little sour, some green apple. Medium body and active carbonation. Almost solid, but there is something funny about it at the same time. Conrats John’s for being around so long! iamqueensblvd (233), , Iowa, USA

Good aroma, sweet & spice, banana, clove, occasional cereal and honey. Hazed pale golden color, good head that faded quickly to nothing. Flavor like aroma, initial sweetness gives way to spice and banana. Medium body, creamy mouth feel, spiced finish that fades off. Tasty, I liked it cold better, yeast got stronger as it warmed and took away from other parts of aroma, Thanks General... sebletitje (1997), Tampa, Florida, USA

The usual banana and clove aroma with a bit of mustiness. Well balanced flavor. Banana and clove are light and the spiciness is more forward than usual but not overwhelming. A bit of a metallic finish. Medium body.
