thedm (3406), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 21, 2008 This flippy top bottled brew from a rating party poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a hazy dark yellow colored body and a fair lacing. The funky aroma was dirty sock. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of hops dough and wheat. Not one that I would likely drink again.
FunkyBrewster (149), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 8, 2008 Thanks to 17thFloor! Pours a light golden yellow-orange color that is moderately cloudy with a thick pillowy white head. Aroma is very fruity with some coriander and orange peel and some lemon zest. There is a nice bit spice though that keeps it from being too overwhelmingly sweet. Flavor starts out with some orange peel sweetness that is pleasantly like real oranges. Bitterness comes in mid swallow and leaves some spiciness in the finish. Medium body and high carbonation. Nice white ale that doesn’t ever get too sweet for its own good. jebert (53), Watertown, Wisconsin, USA Oct 5, 2008 Pours a hazy gold capped by a small white head, mostly dissapating. Aroma is spice and citrus. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. Taste is citrus, wheat and spices with a slightly hoppy finish. Overall , a decent beer but not in top tier in this category. 17thfloor (728), Chicago, Illinois, USA Sep 28, 2008 Pours a rich golden with a huge but thin foamy white head. Big aroma of green apples and spice. Very lively carbonation, super fluffy and airy. Light bodied, mostly just carbonation. Light flavors, some wheat malt with mild spicing. Very delicate brew. Light coriander, tart green apples, nutmeg, hint of lemon. fidelis83 (60), Clinton, Iowa, USA Aug 5, 2008 Pours a moderately cloudy honey with a thin white head that offers up a little lacing as it goes. Aroma of orange, yeast, coriander, and butterscotch. Flavor is all yeast, and orange at first then comes the wheat, definite banana oil, a little bubble gum. Ends very quickly and leaves almost no aftertaste. Very refreshing, though a little sticky and over carbonated. natedoggkc (164), Lenexa, Kansas, USA Jul 14, 2008 Pours a hazy straw with a nice full white head. Lots of coriander and yeast with some orange in the aroma. There is more orange on the palate and is sweeter than what I expected and is pretty carbonated. This was a lot better than I expected.
