Draft sample at MBGF Summer09. Poured a cloudy orange color with a small frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate complex yeasty wheat aroma. Medium body with dry texture and flat carbonation. Medium sweet & sour flavor with a medium sweet & sour finish of moderate duration. This is a good soft brew.

On tap at MBG Summer Festival. Poured a hazy orangish peach with a small white head. Aroma had sour and citrus notes, particularly orange and lemon stuck out. Flavor started light with an orange flavor and then a stronger tartness and lemon notes grows into the beer.

MiBG Summer Fest 2009, 2nd beer of the Saturday session: Slightly hazy golden amber hue with a minimal head. The aroma has notes of lemon lime, wheat husks, oak, minerally water and some herbal notes. The taste is tart and twangy, wheat and pale malt background before the dry woody finish. The mouth feel is quite refreshing, lively and quite a summer quencher. A true session ale, Mikey Likey!

Sampled at the ’09 MBG Summerfest. Orange-gold pour with no head. Tastes and smells like agave nectar with sour green apple. There’s some faint floral and grassy notes in the finish with a bit of vinegar. Sticky medium body with low carbonation.

On tap at MBGSF 09. Poured a hazy orange/amber with a little head. Aroma is mostly a very distant sharp sour. Taste is fairly straightforward, nice sharp sour on the finish, decent body in the middle, with the base beer rounding it all out. Pretty good stuff, another nice JP offering.

On tap at MBGSF 09. Hazy amber with small beige head. Aroma is slight sour and lacto and the everpresent JP house yeast. Flavor is nice sour cherry with brett, lacto and medium sweetness. Medium to light body with active carbonation. Really good and the second best of the JP MBGSF offerings.
