Commercial Description:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

Botella. Courtesy of Pinball. Hazy golden with a big white steady head. Very nice fresh ripe fruity, bit spiced, ueasty aroma. Very good filling mouthfeel. The flavour is soft and fruity with some spice, good hoppiness and some citrus. Nice.

on bottle. slightly hazy orange, beige head. Very inviting aroma; sour hay, dirt, yeasts. Flat oon the taste tho´. Gets acidic and stingy after a while and started to remind me of rotten mash. Finishes rather slow and waterish.

Bottle. I love saisons. I love when saisons are good. This fulfills both. Plus a Jack Russell doggie on the bottle. Going to run out and grab another (bunch) of these.

Pours a lightly cloudy, yellowish with a hint of orange in color like the setting sun today (tomorrow will be brisker than today but still warm). slightly more than a quarter inch of white fluffy head. Small, fast moving carbonation but not soda pop fast. Smell that BRETT! Funky like a farm. Reminds me of the smell of horses on the farm on a wet day. A mustier smell than just being horse-blanket. A little lighter than I expected from a saison but still good. Hints of orange peel but very faint. More coriander than anything else but very faint. There’s no real pop in my mouth but that’s ok. It’s an easy going, light saison. A really good session saison. One of the great things about this beer is how easy it is to drink, and drink, and drink. Light enough in alcohol but not to light. A little light in spiciness for my liking but still really good. This beer will be the one I pick up if I want to have a bunch of beers on a warm or hot day! Not as good as a Hennepin but this beer stands up on its’ own for what it is. A great session saison!

Crushed with Jakebra and Rybra. Alright, farmhouses are officially fahkin weird. Why is hay and poop appealing? Cuz it is, I just don’t get it. The finish in this one is as dry as a good champagne, too. Bizarre but good. Rerate! Superior saison. Had to up the rating .3 cuz I had no idea what was going on before.

12oz bottle. Pours a cloudy orangey/amber with a ginormous white peaky head. Aromas of sour citrus and dusty yeasty funk. Flavors very similar with the addition of some spice. Very carbonated.
