Commercial Description:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

[Bottle] Pours a hazy straw gold with a large, rocky, off white head. Aroma is tart apples, yeasty funk, and a little bit of hops. Flavor is quite sour and a little fruity. Light and effervescent in the mouth. Very crisp and slightly dry finish. Just a little bitterness coming through on the end.

12 oz. bottle - thanks to drewbeerme for the trade; pale yellow with slight haze and minor carbonation; huge white head that could be scooped out with a spoon; lots of lacing as it takes a bit to settle; aroma mix of lemons, yeast and some flowery funk; rich and smooth with minor sourness and spice; has a nice lemon zest and zing to it; very nice

12 oz bottle courtesy of mreusch. Pours a cloudy amber-orange with a dense, white, meringue-like head. The nose is a pleasant blend of lightly funky Belgian yeast, citrus and a light fruity spice. Light-bodied and thin with creamy-soft carbonation and a short, lightly dry finish. Lightly spicy and musty Belgian yeast over tart citrus ending with in a quick, dry finish; a soft and enjoyable saison. Thanks again for the bottle, Matt.

Pours a cloudy straw color with a huge white foamy head that never really goes down. Sour, yeasty aroma with definite notes of grapefruit and spice. A lot of carbonation on the palate. Flavor is good. Much like the aroma, sour and yeasty. Grapefruit and sour apple. The aftertaste is a bit chalky and sticky. Pretty good beer, though.

Hazy golden color with thick, frothy, head that extends over the glass without spilling; leaving lacings. Aroma of dirty yeast, lemon, and spice with some sour apple. Sour lemon and yeast taste overpowers hops and malt. Sour lemon finish.

I found this beer to be boring and not very complex. Pours a wheat colour with a big light head..
