Commercial Description:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

Oh man, there’s poop in my beer! That was the first thing my brother said when we poured this beer. I like barnyard and all, but this was WAY too much. Good news. It tastes great, and the overwhelming barnyard goes away after a bit, and your left with a nice, American saison.

Color is golden straw and very hazy. Head is huge, white and pillowy with great retention. Light and effervescent body. Aroma is tart fresh cut green apple. Flavor is the same. I didn’t think it very complex, but very refreshing. It screams for some granny smiths and some sharp cheddar. A very enjoyable beer.

Pours a cloudy yellow with tenacious lacing and a modest head. Aroma is ginger, perry, and sweet - nice! Wonderful spicing in the taste - sweet yellow pepper and ground black pepper. A sweet/bitter finish which warms nicely! Creamy body, good soft carbonation. Yum! Complex floral spicy notes make this beer a really compelling brew, and the great hop finish is a welcome end to each sip.

Pours a hazy yellow with a very big frothy head. Fantastic fountain of bubbles from the bottom of the glass. Slighltly sour with some funghi. Also apples, citrus, spices and a bit of leather. Medium- to full bodied. Very high carbonation. Dry finish with funghi and coriander. Thanks to BBB63, my July Santa.

Bottle pours a hazy yellow with a monster head that never goes down. The aroma is spicy, yeasty, and floral. The flavor is dry and spicy with a cleansing carbonation for the palate. Overall, glad I bought the 6.

I poured this into my new Surly glass that has curves in the glass walls up to the top so it has the same affect as the tulip, but without so much nose activity. Pours a great white head that leaves a great lacing behind and leaves the head still sitting there. Color is gold and very clear. The smell is sour and gueuze like, slightly fruity, and light. The first thing I noticed was the high carbonation on the mouth, almost soda like. The flavor is lighter than the smell and more wheat-like at the end. The sour flavor is very subdued and nice. Very drinkable, but hard to find. This one cost me $14/six pack.

Slightly cloudy straw colored pour, smallish white head. Just a hint of funk, some barnyard, hay, and flowers on the nose – nice! Very light and refreshing palate. Actively carbonated. Flavor is somewhat straw-like, a bit spicy, with a dry and slightly hoppy finish.
