| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 13, 2007 Bottle obtained from HogTownHarry. Hazy golden-yellow with a huge pillowy white head. Aroma and flavour of citrus, tropical fruit (esp. pineapple), yeast, pepper, wood, a slight funkiness, and herbal hops. A great example of one of my favourite styles. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 12, 2007 The appearance was Just like the commerical description, golden and cloudy: it looks good in the glass. The aroma was very citrus, but the hops are also strong. The favor was surprising refreshing and reminded me more a wheat beer then it did an ale. The finish did show signs of an ale, but didn’t end very dry. A nice beer, very unique, but not an ale in the truest sense. Cheers. hellbilly (1555), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 10, 2007 Saisons/farmhouse ales run across such a wide spectrum of beer, that I have a hard time saying I like the style, as there are many examples I like and many I don’t. This particular sample offers a hefe-like wheat-y mouthfeel and flavor, matched with an intense amount of sourness I really enjoyed.
Appearance was a hazy straw color with towering head formation which I found extremely appealing. This fine cumulus-head stuck around for a long time, maintaining its height in the middle of my glass and it sloped downwards on the edge of the glass. Aroma was light and wheat-y, but also rather sour. Flavor was similar. Mouthfeel was pucker-y, like you’d expect a sour beer to be.
Quite nice. Definitely recommended.
I bought this bottle at Murray’s Wine & Spirits "going out of business" sale. dalepryor (172), Paducah, Kentucky, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 9, 2007 smells great at first whiff! pours a great golden cloudy orange, nice thick fluffy white head. the taste is a little off-center for me, a little sour, not bad really just not the greatest taste. overall decent - worth trying but not buying alexanderj (2280), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 9, 2007 Bottle; poured a yellow with a large frothy white head. Aroma of yeast, apple, must and bread. Surprised at how much I enjoyed this one. Flavors weren’t amazing, but they all came together well. Flavors of apple, yeast, banana, spice and citrus. Palate was as expected. Good for the style. milljam (584), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 4, 2007 A very fruity, crisp ale. Spicy with citrus and oak in both the nose and palate. A good beer from a fine brewery.
