Oct 12, 2007 Poured a unfiltered amber color with major head. Aroma was like other jolly beers a little sour smelling citrus lemony. Flavor was of citrus, apples spices and yeast. Not bad

Oct 8, 2007 hazy golden yellow with a moderately thick white head. mild to moderately sour with a nice mix of spice and malt flavors. The finish is slightly more malty than desired. Overall a great saison.

Oct 5, 2007 Smells tart, sour with oak. Pours golden with lots of head. Flavor is lightly spiced, oak, citrus, and mostly tart. Its not overly sour like some other JP brews. Orangey, crisp, tart, with hints of spice. Pretty good.

Oct 2, 2007 Updated: Nov 15, 2007Bottle from trade with crizay. Thanks Chris! Pours a hazy golden color with a nice fluffy white head. Nice floral aroma with hints of orange and lemon. Has a tart, slightly sour taste that leaves you wanting more. Extremely well balanced flavor of hops, yeast and malt. Has a clean crisp dry finish. Excellent beer!

Sep 30, 2007 Updated: May 6, 2008Bottled. Hazy golden with a rich white foam. Fresh and crisp aroma of biscuit, nuts, banana, maruenge, oranges and cracker. Crsp flavour of nuts, grass, lemon and banana. Clean and crisp finish of white bread, lemon, yeast and nuts. Really nice, an incredible quaffer.

Sep 28, 2007 Pours a hazy yellow orange colour with a big white fluffy head. Aroma is peppery with strong sour lemon lime hints and some yeast. Taste is quite lemony with strong lime and orange peel overtones. Lighter on the white bready malts. Has a nice spicy peppery feel to it. Tasty.

Sep 28, 2007 Pours a clouded gold with a quarter inch white head that stays. Nose is kind of mild with a slight yeast presence. Flavor is very smooth and traditional saison. Feel is a little less meaty than I like, but still fairly good. Extremely drinkable. A damn good saison, and an American produced one at that.
